Brisa De Angulo

Brisa De Angulo is Founder and CEO of A Breeze of Hope Foundation. A Breeze of Hope operates the only center in Bolivia specialized solely in trans-disciplinary services for child survivors of sexual violence as well as an innovative early childhood development program. Ms. DeAngulo holds a J.D., anM.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology, and a B.S. in Psychology. She currently uses neuropsychological research to help police, prosecutors and judges provide better services and advocacy to child survivors. She has co-authored several works on sexual violence, human rights and early childhood development, and shehe also authored a landmark study on the prevalence and dynamics of sexual violence in Bolivia. Additionally, Ms. De Angulo recently published a book with UNICEF on governmental and investment policy for the promotion of early childhood development as a platform for sexual violence prevention.
