I’m a Practitioner
We can help you build your skills and expertise on ending violence against women and girls
If you’re working in an international development or humanitarian organization as a practitioner, we’ve got tools, resources and trainings for you.
Let us help you build your and your organization’s capacity to prevent violence against women and girls.
Can I Implement the Global Women’s Institute’s Programming at My Organization?
Yes! We can help you work directly with refugee women and girls and use their insights to build programming that supports them. Our Empowered Aid approach will give you a direct look into what survivors and high-risk populations need to mitigate the risk of experiencing violence.

Can I Get My Team Trained by the Global Women’s Institute?
One way to collaborate is to enroll your staff in GenderPro, a course specifically designed for people who are working on the front lines, not just on violence but also on how to integrate gender into any kind of development program — such as vaccinations or WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) — to strengthen how they work within your own programs to improve the safety and well-being of women and girls.

Does the Global Women’s Institute Have Tools and Resources That I Can Use to Improve My Work?
We also have a lot of DIY toolkits and fact sheets to help give you a taste of the work that we do. If you’re intrigued, you can find our full course list, many of which are free. We try to make these things accessible. A few resources that we’d recommend starting with:
- Violence against women and girls resource guide
- Research to Action Toolkit
- Building gender-based violence evidence toolkit
Check out our Practitioners’ Lab to find these and more.
