1. We’ll help you tap into an extensive network of leaders and experts.
You’ll receive access to expertise across the Global Women’s Institute research team as well as specialized knowledge from our Affiliated Faculty that can help you expand and deepen your scope of research.
We also bring a diverse community of expertise with our more than 50 partners across 30 countries, including through the world’s premier research program on violence prevention, What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls, which we manage.
2. We can help you publish your research in academic peer-reviewed journals as well as create a wide array of accessible research products.
We excel at getting research published (check out our team’s impact scores on their staff pages). We’ve also collaborated to produce everything from accessible reports to a physical quilt — creating communications products so that the right people can see and understand your research findings. 3. We have access to student and graduate student employees.
We have an extensive group of dedicated students who we could bring in to support your work (e.g., systematic reviews) and supplement your research team at competitive rates.

How Can I Partner With the Global Women’s Institute on My Next Research Project?
If you think we might be the right partner for you, reach out to our team to share more about your work and set up a conversation.
From there, if the collaboration feels like a good fit, we’ll come together and draft an agreement to outline the obligations of each person or organization.
Together, we’ll look for funding opportunities, determine who is going to serve as the lead organization, craft and submit proposals and create a contract for the work.
We’ll also work with you to figure out a research plan — from determining how the research should be designed all the way to co-authorship at the end of the process so that we make sure those roles and responsibilities are outlined up front and that we have a clear understanding of how we perform in this partnership.
